Management Tooling - Discount Priorities

Discounts are evaluated in priority order. See Discount Interaction for why this is important.

The priority order can be controlled on the Discounts Priorities page:

There are two sets of discount priorities, one for Staging and one for Live. This allows you to test changing the order before making the change available to customers.

The discounts on the Discount Priorities page are ordered by their Staging priority. You can drag and drop the discounts to re-order them or use the 3 dots context menu on each discount:

The coloured box on each discount shows the status of the discount.

Once you have made changes to the priorities, click the "Save" button to make them available on the Staging instance. Once you're happy with the changes click the "Publish" button to make them available to the Live instance.

The Staging and Live priority of discounts are shown on each discount card on the Discounts listing page. The coloured boxes show the Staging priority on the top and the Live priority on the bottom:

Once the priorities have been published on the Discount Priorities page then they are the same between Staging and Live:
